Trail Overview

This route(M95) is a shorter spur route off of the main "Bent Chicken house" road (FS417). Unlike the main route, this road is more closed in by brush, though it remains easily passable in most Vehicles. The road is generally blue shale and dirt with some occasional mud holes. Mud holes are solid-bottomed and are easily navigable. This road is seasonal only for non-highway vehicles, and can become busy during hunting season. This route is an out-and-back spur that dead ends at a berm and a reasonably wide cul-de-sac. This location would make a decent location for a campsite. Another area near the midpoint would make a good small campsite, though it would be very tight.

Difficulty

Road is narrow but easily passible in most high clearance vehicles. The mud holes may become more problematic in wet weather but seem to have a solid base. The need for 4wd is unlikely.
