Trail Overview

The trail begins as a gravel-covered clay road with several dips and rises. As you progress, the trail becomes very rocky with several loose rocks and some washed out sections on the left side of the trail, right side if you're descending the trail. There are lots of sharp rocks and a slightly tight squeeze as you enter the harder part of the trail, getting into lots of loose and slippery rocks even when dry. Not a lot of maneuvering room to go around some of the larger rocks that may scrape the underside. The trail ends going up to a vista lookout, looking out over some lakes and mountain ranges of Arkansas.

I'm rating this a 3, but it could be a 4 if rain has recently occurred, making several of the base rocks that need to be climbed extra difficult.

We completed this trail with a Jeep Gladiator with 35’s with stock Rubicon suspension and leveling kit. Easily done with this set up and it was not technical. We had a lot of fun on the trail, and we went both up and down it. Great a view at the top.

This is a nice trail for a short off-road side trip. It has some loose rocks and a little wash out but easy to drive. We started from the overlook and went downhill a short way. We didn’t have to use 4 wheel drive. Lots of side trails that appear to be open; however onX showed they were closed until 8/1.

Rocky uneven terrain. Went downhill from the lake overlook and just took it easy. It’s not super skinny but definitely not gonna be easy if two vehicles meet. Trail was fun!
