Trail Overview
Don't let the name fool you. E1 Too Easy is far from easy. It is a very difficult climb up from D1 Rubicon Ridge up to the top of Prothane Point. The beginning is very steep, loose chunks of rock, but towards the top, it turns into a tangled mess of trees with no clear way out. In the middle of the trail is a huge undercut rock ledge at least 10' tall. The park rating for this trail is a maximum 6 diamonds. A Park Day-Use Trail Pass is required to access this system of trails. Cell service is spotty in places, and trail conditions can change quickly, especially during rainy or winter seasons.
