Trail Overview
This trail offers both scenic beauty and a sense of historical significance as it climbs to the top of the mountain, where expansive views of the valley below reward the effort. Once an important route for the local community, it still passes numerous private properties, with old homesteads, derelict homes, and rusting agricultural machinery scattered along the way. The trail surface is primarily maintained gravel, though there are stretches of corrugation, potholes, and uneven terrain. Local traffic can be fast, so caution is advised. While a few dispersed campsites may be found, there are no services, though cell reception remains strong throughout.
