Trail Overview
This ATV trail near Russellville, Arkansas, in the Ozark National Forest, starts at the Day Use Parking Area and gradually goes downhill until the J Intersection. It offers a mostly easy ride through a mix of sun and shade, through a forest of maples and oak trees. This is likely how most trail users start their ride. The wide path features numerous long, shallow mud puddles in spring that often span the entire width of the trail. They are easily skirted by dirt bikes, but are unavoidable for ATVs. Expect a few narrow, downed trees sticking out into the trail and some muddy ruts and roots to keep things interesting. The terrain includes curvy sections and gentle downhill grades from the day-use parking area. Trail maintenance is evident, with cinder blocks and cement pavers reinforcing some of the steeper spots.
