Trail Overview

This is one of the offshoots of the Locket Meadow Trail. It's mostly a Forest Service road, but it does become narrow in some places. It climbs up and then descends back down. The terrain is not complicated, yet it's not a fast trail to trek. It has exposed rocks, roots, and some ruts. But non are complicated; just take the time and air down before heading off. It's really a nice adventure. You will see scrubs, aspen trees, and of course, big pines.

Difficulty

This isn't difficult at all, I recommend you air down if possible to help with the ride. It's a washboard road at first, then it becomes a little rocky with some exposed roots.
