Trail Overview
Tired of the same old dirt road? Take a wash instead. The terrain changes with every storm. This route varies from broad open sandy sections to soft silty sections and rocky bedrock obstacles. The path is evident when there hasn't been much rain. Not so much right after a storm. Be sure to watch for a few sections where the route leads out to either side to bypass heavily overgrown sections or extreme challenge sections. The southern area where this recording ends is right at a deep super soft sandy transition that exceeded the limits of the high clearance 4x4 the trail was run with. There is evidence of SXS and ATVs continuing south. There is no cell service out here, be sure to plan ahead with offline maps pre-downloaded.
