Trail Overview

This is a scenic trail that goes up and over the mountains. Very narrow and not recommended for anything over 60 inches wide. High clearance and 4 wheel drive recommended as well. There are rocky washes to cross, and several downhill grades and climbs out again. This is not a two-vehicle wide trail. There are great views from the top. Lots of cactus and rock formations for pictures.

Difficulty

Because this trail is narrow with few places to pass, watch ahead of you for oncoming traffic. The wash canyon is beautiful but can be hazardous in wet weather.

Access Description

Recommended to take it from North to South. Start at Hillbilly near the BLM gate on Highway 60 and follow this trail along the mountains and into the canyons.
