Trail Overview

This trail is a very scenic way to Hope from Salome, Arizona. The terrain is mostly flat with the usual desert plants. There are Saguaro cacti and gardens of Cholla cacti as you ride. The trail has easy washes, but they could be impassable in rainy weather. There are beautiful long views of the mountain ranges and across the desert.

Access Description

From Hillbilly, take HS51n and turn south on HS41n. Or you can come into Hope on Highway 60 and turn into the gate. Then follow HS83k around to HS51N and back to Hillbilly.
