Trail Overview
This trail leads to a scenic overlook above the Colcord and Tule Canyons. The beginning of the trail is washboard, potholes, and ruts. There are lots of dispersed camping spots near highway 73. The spots have large fire rings and are good for big rigs and RVs. The trail narrows and becomes very rutted and rocky once you pass the turn for The White White Horse Lake and Campground. Watch for washouts and deeper dips. It could be impassable when wet. Once near the end of the trail, there is no camping or fires from the sign on or at the point itself. But the views are worth the bumps. 2 bars of LTE fades in and out. There is no winter maintenance.
Difficulty
Mostly easy washboard that may be deep mud when wet. Rocky rutted near the end.
