Trail Overview
Ss1013 is a curvy gravel road that climbs gentle hills through desert creosote. About three-quarters of a mile in, watch the uneven ruts, as high speed may cause damage. Next pass through a heavily overgrown section descending toward the tank. Pinstripes expected from low, dead limbs. Trail Y's & stay left. Maps show ATV/moto, but it continues as a wide, non-technical track. When the track dead-ends, go right and follow the fence line to the water tank, windmill, and corral. Turn right again to finish Ss1013. You pass through another gate, leave it as you found it. Dispersed campsites in the area. Great views of Mount Graham. Several side spurs. Great connector trail to several others in the area.
