Trail Overview
Saddle Mountain is a one-and-a-half-lane wide gravel road that goes from the valley floor all the way to the summit of Saddle Mountain. There is some erosion and water damage along this road, but nothing to make it unpassable. If you don't like shelf roads with steep downhills, do not attempt this trail. There are no major obstacles along this road, but passing and/or turning around might be challenging on this road, so take a moment to observe higher uphill before attempting to conquer it. There are a couple of campsites up at the top of this hill, one nestled in the trees and one exposed on the shoulder of this hill. The views from the top make it all worth it.

Difficulty
This is a semi-maintained gravel road that leads to the towers located at the summit of Saddle Mountain. There are campsites up top, and some switchbacks and erosion on the way up. DO NOT ATTEMPT IF YOU DO NOT LIKE SHELF ROADS. There are few places to pass safely.
