Trail Overview

This trail, combined with the Rockin' Ram Trail - Northern Section, will take you round-trip from Quartzsite to Brenda and back, all on dirt.From Brenda, AZ, take the Spur Loop to Brenda trail west until you can cross under the interstate. The tunnels under the interstate will fit a 75" SXS IF we take off our flag pole and antenna. High Clearance 4x4s may not fit through the tunnel. The track takes you through the mountains south of Interstate 10, back towards Quartzsite. You'll cross the Dripping Springs Trail and end up crossing back over I-10 on the Spur Loop to Brenda trail, which is paved.If you're in this area between April 1 and October 30, there is the possibility of running across a rattlesnake. Wear boots and seek help immediately if bitten. This track is almost 22 miles on dirt.

Difficulty

Trail includes areas that are rocky, there will be erosion in some places, depending on the monsoon rains, and the course of the path through some of the washes may change if the rains have been heavy.

Access Description

From Brenda, head west on the Spur Loop to Brenda Trail. From there, follow the track.From Quartzsite, if you're doing the route from west to east, you go from Highway 95 (Central Boulevard) east on Main Street to Riggles Ave. Turn right on Riggles and go over the interstate to the trail.
