Trail Overview

Dirt trail winds through the beautiful desert landscape, offering dramatic views of canyons, desert flora, and the rugged mountains surrounding you. The trail includes sections of uneven, rocky terrain with occasional washes, and in some places, there are steep drop-offs on either side of the trail. You'll also encounter some tight turns and narrow paths that require careful navigation as this road is shared with other hiking and off-roading enthusiasts.

Difficulty

The trail includes sections of uneven rocky terrain, there are steep drop-offs on either side of the trail. You'll also encounter some tight turns and narrow paths, but most 4WD & 2WD SUVs can make the trek.

Access Description

Just passed Tortilla Flats off the Apache Trail (Highway 88) before the pavement ends, make a left onto the trail. There will be a locked mailbox at the beginning of the trail.
