Trail Overview
This trail lives up to its name with sharp, steep hills that dive into dry washes. As you pass over these washes, you quickly ascend back up another mountain. This trail follows a natural gas line, so be aware of signs on the trail. The hills in the Northwest section are steeped, consisting of small loose rocks, rock outcroppings, and a few small erosion ruts. As the trail traverses South, the hills are less steep, with a handful of ruts to navigate. As the trail approaches Highway 69, the guided trail stops just before private property.
