Trail Overview
If you're familiar with desert environments, and you're like me, you've come to love a wash trail. Lower Wash Run is a wide and fun wash, filled with deep, soft sand. Typical of most washes in Arizona, you'll find sections of varying terrain in this wash, with sporadic rock gardens, and narrow choke points caused by vegetation or "islands" and ledges. Some of the ledges in this wash are 12" tall, but other than that there are no major obstacles in this wash. The wash does have fences across at both ends, thus making a continuation of the entire Bullard Wash system impossible and impassable. There is little to no cell service in this area, so it's best to have offline maps recommended.

Difficulty
This trail is unmaintained and entirely in a wash setting. There are ledges and sneaky rocks that can be exposed and are up to 12" in size. As always, washes are prone to flash floods, so please check local and surrounding areas for weather, monsoon, or moisture activity.
