Trail Overview
Gardner Wash features a steep, eroded hill that adds a challenge to this rugged trail right out of the gate. There's heavy erosion on this hill, and you might even hang a tire or two getting through. At the bottom of the hill, the route follows a wash, with erosion shaping much of the terrain. Careful navigation is required, and there are some cool rock formations that might prompt you to stop and take pictures. Sadly, this exciting trail ended at a locked gate with no way through to connect it to the vast network of trails beyond. With no cell service in the area, be sure to download offline maps before heading out.

Difficulty
This trail features and uneven, rutted, offset erosion, and off camber section right out of the gate. These features, as well as the wash, may become exacerbated or more challenging/hazardous after or during a monsoon or moisture event. There is no cell service in the area, so offline maps are recommended.
