Trail Overview
Forest Service Road 9362K is just over a mile long and begins off Highway 260. As you head southwest, the trail starts relatively easy, with scattered rocks and small ruts along the way. As you continue, the terrain becomes increasingly rocky, especially as you approach Soldier Mesa Tank. Along this section, you'll encounter a few short hill climbs featuring rock gardens that add a bit of technical challenge. The rocky conditions persist until you pass Soldier Mesa Tank. Beyond the tank, the trail surface improves and becomes less rocky. The route then turns southeast for the final stretch, where you'll find smaller ruts and loose rocks. Be aware that this section can become quite muddy after precipitation, making travel more difficult. Use caution near the end of the trail--turning around may be challenging, particularly for full-sized 4x4 vehicles.
