Trail Overview
Forest Service Road 9236K clocks in at just over 6 miles long. The western part of this trail starts off easy-going with small loose rocks and a handful of erosion ruts scattered about. The trail will pass two gates you must open and close. After the second gate, the trail quickly turns into a rocky and short hill climb. As you traverse this trail to the East, the surface will continue to become more rocky. There are some nice, sporadic views of West Clear Creek Wilderness while traveling this trail. In the eastern portion of this route, there are several large rock obstacles you must navigate over. Use caution around these areas. There are several shredded tires and hardware littered on the trail's surface. The rocky surface starts to become more mild as you reach the East end of this trail.
