Trail Overview
Forest Road 229F is just short of 2 miles long and travels from West to East. The beginning of this road starts as an easy dirt road until you pass a small erosion rut. After this rut, the trail wraps around a small hill. The trail becomes very rocky in this section with lots of evidence of rocks scraping undercarriages. This rocky section doesn't let up until you pass a cattle guard. After the cattle guard, the trail evens back out to a dirt surface. From there, the trail almost travels in a straight line through the forest and ends at a rocky downhill section.
