Trail Overview
This trail starts out easy and quickly climbs to beautiful views on both sides of the ridge. There are a few rocky sections and minor washouts along the way, but nothing overly technical. Several great camping spots are scattered along the route, many with impressive views of the surrounding mountains and the lake below. Be sure to check out the old truck that crashed down in the bowl near the middle of the trail, an interesting and unexpected sight along the way.

Difficulty
This trail earns its easy-to-moderate rating due to a handful of rocky sections and light washouts along the climb. While most of the route is straightforward, high clearance is recommended, and drivers should be comfortable navigating mild uneven terrain.
