Trail Overview
FR15 is a rocky trail, sprinkled with erosion and wash crossings. Some of the wash crossings have steep entrances and exits, so speed might not be your friend on this trail. Standard erosion exists on this trail as well, and there are sporadic large rock gardens that will slow your journey. Along this trail, there are many offshoot trails. This area is popular with hunters and recreationists, so don't be surprised to see campsites and trailers along the way. This trail is lined with Ponderosa Pine and Juniper Trees, which are typical in this area of the Kaibab National Forest. Don't be surprised if you see elk, deer, and antelope along this trail. The cell service is spotty on this trail, so you'll want to have offline maps as a resource.
