Trail Overview

FR 306P is a short easy trail with no obstacles that weaves between the mixed pines and scrub brush of the Kaibab National Forest. Used for camping access, the sites have disappeared due to a fire that swept through the area in recent years. This wide dirt single track leads through the burn scar to FR 2619. Don't be surprised to see large piles of dead trees on your way - the Forest Service's efforts to stem wildfires in the area.

Access Description

From Tusayan, head South on HWY 64. Turn West onto FR 306/Donaldson Tank Road. The trail will be a short distance, on the North side of the road.
