Trail Overview
Fh1063 is a short out-and-back trail located near the start of the main route. The trail quickly drops into a wash, where you can take a small side hike in the wash through a small, narrow rock canyon. Great, beautiful canyon where you'll be surrounded by beautiful moss-covered boulders lining the walls. Continue on the trail, take the left at the fork. The wash itself is soft gravel and easy to travel. Before long, you'll reach a fork--take the second left. The trail narrows here and becomes lined with desert creosote. Soon, you'll start noticing massive saguaro cacti appearing about every quarter mile, along with striking ocotillo scattered throughout the landscape. The route climbs a few small hills--nothing technical, just minor rocky sections that are easy to navigate. You'll follow the ridgeline from hill to hill, passing a couple of spur trails along the
