This rugged drive is located in the Barry M. Goldwater Range West. There are many side roads to take, and a great trail for ATVs, UTVs and dirt bikes. All vehicles must be street legal and licensed. If you have a permit for the east side of this trail, you're also covered here. Intersections are marked with wooden posts.

Difficulty

Easy: Rough and rocky in places, especially near Fortuna Mine. Highclearance 4WD stock SUVs can do it. Alternate routes shown on the BMGR West map may be more difficult.

Access Description

Drive Trail #98 first. It ends where this trail begins at Post A16. You could also reach the start by heading south on El Camino Del Diablo Este from Interstate 8 at Exit 30. If you drive trail in reverse, follow directions for Fortuna Mine, Trail #97.
