This 6.1-mile section of the El Camino Del Diablo trail passes through the Welton Block of the Barry M Goldwater range complex. The trail is a maintained dirt road and easy to travel. This is Federal Military land, do not travel off of the approved trails. To obtain permits go to https://bmgr.recaccess.com. The permits are free and easy to apply for. After receiving the permits you must check in and check out of each range block you pass through. A range map is provided in the photos section.

History
Barry M Goldwater Range is open to the public for multiple activities to include off-roading. A permit is required for use and can be applied for at https://bmgr.recaccess.com, the permit is free. Once the user has received approval for a permit they must ensure to check in for the various blocks within the range to be used. Ranges will sometimes be closed if Military units are actively training within the range block.
