Trail Overview

This 2-mile trail drops over 100 feet as it descends through the area. The surface is sandy with lots of small rocks and is one vehicle wide. A few sections cut through trees and are very narrow, requiring careful navigation. The trail is fairly smooth overall with a few short off-camber sections scattered throughout. You'll enjoy great views of the Trigo Mountains to the east as you make your way down. There are lots of flat areas suitable for dispersed camping along the route.

Difficulty

This is an easy trail with straightforward navigation. The narrow sections through trees require attention and slow speeds, and the short off-camber sections demand respect, but nothing is overly technical. The sandy surface with small rocks is typical desert terrain and manageable for most vehicles.
