This trail is the western portion of Forest Service Road 214. This trail is a maintained gravel road that stretches just shy of 11 miles long. There is considerable elevation gain at 2,200+ ft as you traverse on top of Cedar Flat. There are a few small rocky sections on this road but nothing to worry about. This road may close due to certain weather conditions. So, check current weather and road closures with the Coconino National Forest Service.
