Trail Overview

Brady Loop is a well-loved, easy trail that serves as a fantastic gateway to the Lower Tank and Corral area, providing access to a plethora of enjoyable dispersed camping spots. It's not uncommon to spot bumper pull campers here, although they likely entered from the main gas pipeline side instead of the pole line road. As you traverse this scenic route, you'll be surrounded by a vibrant mix of cacti and desert plants, including some impressive saguaros. The area is teeming with wildlife, allowing you to see quail, blackbirds, and perhaps even a javelina or two roaming through the landscape. As this trail is within open range, be vigilant for cattle and always leave any gates you encounter in the same condition you found them--either open or closed. While the Brady Loop is generally easy to navigate, it contains long sandy sections, short wash crossings, and hill climbs. If you're navigating in a larger vehicle, be aware that the trail can narrow in spots, requiring you to back up to allow oncoming traffic to pass. Important Note: Expect mobile coverage to vary, typically starting with one bar of Verizon LTE that may increase to two in certain areas. Before setting off, obtain your Arizona State Land Trust permit, as required for access to this area. Always prepare for the desert environment by bringing ample water and supplies to ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure.
