Trail Overview
Octave Trail is little more than a mining road, which are typical in this area of Arizona. Rocky, and at times narrow, this trail has erosion and water damage along it. There are wash crossings with some sections of washed-out road as well. Don't be surprised to see other vehicles along this trail as it is a popular area with hunters. There are no major obstacles along this trail, but there are sneaky rocks and cacti hugging the edges of the trail, waiting to puncture your tires, so you'll want to be paying attention. There are some old ruins, abandoned mine shafts, and still active claims in the area as well, so be on the lookout for structures, signage, and the odd rusted pile of cans.

Difficulty
There are no major obstacles along this trail, but the trail does narrow as you run East and South, so you'll want to be aware of cacti and sneaky rocks in/lining the trail.
