Trail Overview
This dirt bike trail is a true singletrack through the BLM land north of Interstate 8, compared to the many wide wash trails. It goes through a flat desert terrain for 0.8 miles, on a skinny trail through cholla gardens and next to towering saguaro cactus. The trail weaves through the cactus with gentle curves and is mostly flat, with one steeper spot on the south end. This is a great beginner trail for single track, with nothing too difficult, but enough minor technical elements to keep it interesting. It meanders next to scenic rocky desert hillsides, with a bit of loose rock, and has a few small rock stair steps less than a foot high when crossing a couple of small ravines. Expect a couple of steeper and looser spots as it dips in and out of ravines and washes. The trail is also narrower at times when it does some very mild side-hilling near the south end.
