Trail Overview
This is a 2-mile-long wash trail through BLM Land north of Interstate 8. The north end starts at the boundary of Arizona state trust land and BLM, accessed through a spur off the Vekol Wash. The entirety of the trail is a wide sandy wash with some grass growing through the sand. There are lots of tracks to follow, and it is 30 feet wide at times. The wash is lined with big paloverde trees, desert ironwood, and velvet mesquite. It goes in a very straight line, with minimal elevation change, being essentially flat the entire way. Watch out for small dips and bumps in the wash and changing conditions, but overall, it is very easy. There are a few very narrow sections through tight bushes and trees, with overgrown branches that whack you as you pass, especially on the east end as it narrows up and approaches private property.
