Trail Overview
The Approach Angle Issues trail is a challenging route that's steep on everything, demanding skillful navigation and a capable vehicle. Expect wash crossings that add an extra layer of difficulty, especially in wetter conditions with steep entrances and exits. The trail is narrow in sections, requiring precision and careful maneuvering. The south-end washout presents a particularly tough spot, with uneven terrain that tests your approach angle and off-road driving skills. This trail is best suited for experienced off-roaders seeking a technically demanding and rewarding adventure. The South end of the trail continues, but there is a major washout, and larger tires on a larger vehicle is needed to proceed into the mountains. (Picture of washout and Tacoma for reference).

Difficulty
This is an unmaintained trail that has numerous spots with erosion and water damage (not done justice by the photos). Sections of this trail may become challenging after a rain or during monsoon season. The trail continues to the South, but mapping was stopped at a large washout (picture for reference).
