Trail Overview
Trail 4633A is accessed through two gates at the corner of a ranch fence along Trail 4892. Initially, the route is simply rocky and bumpy, but it soon descends into a narrow wash where overgrown trees crowd the path, leading to inevitable pinstriping. The trail shows minimal signs of recent use, and obstacles quickly become more frequent. A fallen tree had to be cleared to continue, only to reveal more debris, rocky off-camber sections, and numerous additional obstructions. Fresh bear scat was also prevalent along the route, adding an element of caution to the journey. Given its rugged and overgrown nature, this trail is best suited for small, compact, and highly capable four-wheel-drive vehicles. Ultimately, after encountering increasingly difficult terrain, we chose to turn back rather than proceed further. No dispersed campsites are available along the way and there are no amenities such as trash disposal or potable water, and cell service is limited.
