Trail Overview

This 3-mile-long route is a fun desert single track. The north end starts by climbing up the desert hill on a narrow single track. It's fast and flowy in the beginning but is closely lined with lots of cacti, so watch your hands near the cholla! This trail has several deeply rutted steep climbs and descents that are full of loose rocks. Sometimes there are embedded chunky rocks within the climbs, making them more challenging with small ledges that you have to get up while the trail is already steep and loose. There are some split lines to choose from out here, so it's helpful to have a map. It winds through the hills before ending on a dirt road. Since this trail is partially on Arizona State Trust Land, it requires a recreation permit that you can obtain online.
