Trail Overview
This is an interesting dirt bike trail that goes through the Garfias Wash in the Hieroglyphic Mountains the whole time. The west end starts in the gravelly and sandy wash, with tall scenic rock walls and scraggly trees. There are embedded rocks and small ledges in the wash. You'll likely see cows in the wash, as this washome moisture. There, you have to ride through lots of unpleasant mud holes for the cows. You ride over uneven rock layers and pick your way through small boulders and ramped ledges. It's pretty scenic the rest of the way, though, with tall canyon walls. The wash is narrow initially but widens as it turns into a road designation on the east end.
