Trail Overview
This dirt bike trail starts from the south end on a really steep hill climb on loose pea-gravel and dirt. You have to stay committed in the climb, but will probably be spinning and drifting in the loose rocks. It gets up to a scenic ridge line, high above the valley below; then, you have to drop back down an equally steep descent that is also loose and rutted, with little drop-offs. It continues on the ridgeline, going up and down the small hills. There's some embedded rock under the loose rocks during the steep sections, but it's mostly flat layers of rock, not ledges, so it's not overly difficult. The north end ends at a three-way intersection with two other dirt bike trails. Since this trail is partially on Arizona State Trust Land, it requires a recreation permit that you can obtain online.
