Trail Overview
The trail commences at an archway leading to the Laguna Hanson Trail, running parallel to Mexico Highway 2 in the opposite direction of traffic. Upon turning away from the highway, the ascent begins towards the initial high point. Just before reaching the antennas, the path diverges onto a less maintained road, unveiling a picturesque stretch of terrain characterized by a series of ascents and descents. This scenic segment of the trail culminates at a high point affording panoramic views of the surrounding trails and distant prison towers. Be mindful of a few narrow passages that may brush against larger vehicles, potentially leaving marks. Throughout the journey, numerous stunning vistas punctuate the landscape.
