Trail Overview

The Arroyo Ridge Trail offers an exciting off-road adventure with varied terrain that will take you through the stunning desert landscape. It also provides breathtaking views of the Cerro de Colores to the South and other mountains in the Sierra de Juarez Mountain Range. Though a 4x4 isn't strictly necessary, high clearance is highly recommended, especially when navigating the deep washes that drop in and out of the path several times. These washes can become impassable during the wet season, so be cautious.
