Starting in Alfredo Bonfil, this route winds along the base of a scenic mesa adorned with wind turbines, eventually connecting to the section of Highway 1 known as San Juan de la Costa. The drive offers a smooth and enjoyable experience, with minimal corrugations and just enough soft sand to provide a comfortable ride. Along the way, you'll pass several small ranches and encounter iconic El Cardon cacti dotting the landscape. The route also features a few turnoffs leading up the mesa, perfect for exploration or setting up camp.
