Trail Overview
This scenic eight-mile stretch along the coast is part of a breathtaking 30- to 40-mile coastal route that offers an unforgettable driving experience. While not highly technical, the terrain varies from sandy sections and deep whoops--shaped by past Baja 1000 races--to rugged, rocky paths and smooth, fast tracks. The route features a few steep descents and a significant arroyo crossing, where maintaining momentum is crucial. Though an exhilarating drive, its remote location requires careful preparation--4WD, aired-down tires, and recovery gear are essential, as no services or assistance are available nearby.

Difficulty
While this trail is not particularly difficult and mostly follows a flat path along the ocean, certain sections require good ground clearance and feature deep sand, making 4WD and the ability to air down your tires essential. While a skilled driver in a 2WD vehicle might navigate most or even all of these sections, a single misjudgment could leave you stuck in the sand for an extended period, waiting for assistance in a remote area.
