Trail Overview
This trail features well-maintained gravel road with a few narrow bridges. On the north end, there is a small section of maintained dirt road that can get muddy after rain. This trail goes through the heart of the Quivira National Wildlife Refuge. Here you will see lots of wildlife, including deer, birds, eagles, and waterfowl. The trail goes along the edge of the Little Salt Marsh and has high saline content in the water. The park is open 1.5 hours before sunrise to 1.5 hours after sunset.
