Trail Overview
This 1.5 vehicle-wide trail features mostly sand and gravel surface with some rocks throughout. It serves as a main access trail for many other trails in the area, making it an important connector route. The trail is lined with creosote brush on both sides as you navigate through. You'll encounter lots of ruts cutting across the road from other trails and water runoff that create bumpy sections. One end, the North, of the trail starts at the Yuma Proving Grounds boundary line, where access is restricted, making this an out-and-back trail. The other end terminates in a little village of Cibola, providing "civilization" access for those in the area.

Difficulty
This is an easy trail with straightforward navigation despite the ruts crossing the road. The sand and gravel surface with some rocks is typical terrain and manageable for most high clearance vehicles. The ruts from water runoff and intersecting trails require attention but aren't technically difficult. The wider trail width makes passing easier and reduces pinstriping concerns.
