Lower Stone Ridge Rock Pit Backroad

Trail Overview

This track starts at the end of the rock pit, ascending up a pit wall on a narrow track. After passing through some young pines, this trail opens up. It's fairly well-maintained, and passes some private cabins. You eventually end up back on Lower Stone Ridge road and this is an easier line to get in and out of the pit.

The entrance in the pit is narrow and steep with a right turn at the very beginning, but it is still manageable.
