As you navigate, keep an eye out for hilltop campsites, offering scenic spots to stop along the way. The trail eventually mellows out, transforming into a smooth, windy path that's perfect for a relaxed drive. Joshua trees line parts of the route, adding to the trail's desert beauty. With only one bar of cell service, be sure to have offline maps downloaded before you go.
