Trail Overview
Time may be limited, but your desire to explore a new route without any worries of getting stuck is about to be fulfilled! This wide trail mainly covered by dirt, sand, and small rocks will take you to the top of a small mountain where you will find a lake called Lac d'Enfant, French for Kids Lake. Cell reception is good all the way to the top. Venture off the beaten path and let curiosity be your compass as you explore the various branches that diverge from the main route, revealing secrets yet to be uncovered. Just a word of caution: when you approach the three-quarter mark of the ascent, the trail narrows down to a mere six feet in width, and it's a world of pinstripes! Fear not, for even if you decide not to brave this section with your beloved vehicle, you can still park it at the trailhead and continue on foot. A mere fifteen-minute walk separates you from the lake that awaits your arrival. However, heed the advice of seasoned explorers--from early June to mid-July, an army of mosquitoes wages war against any intruders who dare to traverse their domain. Be armed with the necessary protection to ward off these tiny adversaries, unless you wish to become their helpless victim. Unfortunately, after reaching the top, no panoramic viewpoints await you at the summit. Estimate an hour for a round-trip. Dare to experience the joy of exploration, and let this trail be the canvas upon which you create unforgettable memories.
