Trail Overview
Beginning off Shepody Road, this single-lane gravel road quickly becomes a narrow trail overgrown with shrubs and small trees. Cross a shallow stream, then continue through the overgrowth for 0.5 kilometers (0.3 miles), and you'll emerge into a birch forest. The trail will take you through an opening in the trees where you'll get views of nearby rolling hills and forests. Take this route in the fall to see some incredible foliage along the way. Take in the views for the remaining 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) of the trail as you head southwest towards Goose Creek Road. Vehicle access through Shepody Road is restricted during the winter months while the road is maintained as a snowmobile trail. Closures are typically from December to April, but be sure to check specific closure dates and maintenance status.

Difficulty
While there's nothing particularly technical in terms of terrain, sections of this trail are extremely overgrown, and full-size vehicles will definitely be at risk of pinstripes. 4WD is not necessary, but lower clearance vehicles may experience some undercarriage scraping on tall grasses and woody shrubs. The trail is not maintained after rain, and vehicle access is restricted during the winter.
