West Lillooet FSR is a very well maintained Forest service road that winds along Lillooet lake and river. The service road starts just outside of Pemberton and accesses lots of other trails and forest service roads, as well as Sloquet hot springs recreation site. Beautiful mountain views along the road along side the winding river make this trail quite the popular so be cautious of other users and maintenance vehicles. As well as accessing the Sloquet hot springs this road also accesses West Harrison FSR, aswell as glacier lake trail.

Difficulty

This well-maintained FSR has little to no obstacles, with most of the road being 2 vehicles wide and graded fairly regularly. Some sections are prone to washboarding and potholes. Other sections can have loose gravel and tight turns. Keep eyes up and headlights on when traveling, especially during poor weather and dusty seasons, as the road is quite popular and there are often maintenance vehicles using/servicing the road.

Construction crews on site repairing the roads, crews have been rolling shut downs. We arrive at 2:05pm and had to wait until 4:00pm before they let us through.
