Trail Overview

Kokish Main is a winding Forest Service road that is worth the trip. The route passes an active dam, and at one point during the journey, you will come across Ida Lake, and it is a real gem. Not only is this a beautiful lake, which is great for swimming, but there is also a great Recreation Site offering a number of camp sites. Be sure to bring your paddleboard, canoe, fishing gear, and camping gear, as you will not want to make this a rest stop, but rather a weekend getaway.
