Trail Overview
This is a very fun section of the Bata FSR. It's not narrow so there is pretty much no pin striping. There are 2 water crossings which due to the drought of the last 4 months, had minimal water. But a fun off camber drop into the creek get your rig onto 3 wheels which is always fun. Much of the FSR is rocky versus gravel and dirt. These aren't big rocks, but its rough enough to slow you a bit. As this is a secondary road to access the James Lake area, and since it is deactivated, the road conditions will vary depending on weather conditions, snow melt, etc. I had a couple of sections where I had one bar of cell service. The lake has a decent sized rec site that sits right on the lakeside. Due to that drought, the lake levels in November 2022 is very low as seen int he attached pictures.

Difficulty
There are large ruts that need to be maneuvered through as well as some drops down into creeks that you must have a high clearance vehicle and 4x4.
